What is Community Participation Support?

At Perth Carers Group, community participation means having the confidence, support and companionship to enjoy life outside the home. We help you stay connected, active and involved in the people, places and activities that matter most.

Our community support is personalised to your goals and comfort level — whether you enjoy one-on-one support for appointments and outings or small-group activities for social connection.

We work with you to understand what you want to access in your community and how often you’d like support. Together, we help you make the most of your NDIS plan so you can enjoy regular outings, routines and activities that enrich your wellbeing.

Your Local Area Coordinator or Support Coordinator can also help include these supports in your plan discussions to ensure ongoing, consistent funding.

Community participation is funded under Core Supports, which means you can use your budget flexibly for social, recreational and community engagement activities.

Perth Carers Group is here to support you every step of the way.
